El Municipio llevó adelante el primer Hackathon Sostenible del partido de Escobar
Organizado por la Municipalidad en el Polo de Educación Superior (PES) de Escobar, se desarrolló el primer Hackathon Sostenible del distrito.
Se trató de una iniciativa que convocó a jóvenes de entre 18 y 35 años para compartir una jornada de trabajo en equipos, de debate y de intercambio de ideas en el marco de las acciones del programa Escobar Sostenible.
Así, durante un día se realizaron diversas actividades en grupos de cinco personas, con el objetivo de problematizar sobre la temática ambiental y generar distintos proyectos para construir un Escobar más sostenible.
Entre las propuestas presentadas se destacaron la de un eco-triciclo para mejorar las condiciones de movilidad de los recuperadores urbanos, un plan de bio-conectar para promover la educación ambiental y conocer sobre las energías limpias, la instalación de composteras comunitarias en las escuelas, la implementación de un sistema RAL (reutilización y aprovechamiento de lodos) para el tratamiento de efluentes cloacales, y por último, el proyecto ganador presentado por el equipo “Ida y vuelta”, que promueve la economía circular a partir del reciclaje de plásticos y su regreso al espacio público en forma de cestos de residuos.
Al cierre del evento se entregaron composteras municipales, una botella de vidrio y una bolsa reutilizable a todas y todos los participantes, mientras que el equipo ganador fue premiado con una notebook para cada uno de sus integrantes.
El Hackathon sostenible es un evento coordinado por un comité que nuclea a la Dirección de Juventud y a la Dirección General de Innovación de Escobar, a jóvenes referentes del Programa municipal “Protectores Ambientales”, y a distintos especialistas en ambiente y Gestión Integral de Residuos Sólidos Urbanos (GIRSU). Además, contó con un jurado conformado por el médico veterinario y ex rector de la UBA, Rubén Hallu; el ingeniero en Seguridad Ambiental y director general de Ambiente de Escobar, Javier Guzzo; la ingeniera Agrónoma de Fundación Temaikèn, Emilia Sánchez; el ingeniero agrónomo del INTA Campana, Sebastián Coll; la licenciada en Ciencia Política y Biología de la Conservación, Mercedes Fino, y el Ingeniero agrónomo Dr. en Ciencias Naturales, Luis Andrés Polack.
