Se realizó el acto de cierre del programa “Escuelas por el Ambiente”, que alcanzó a más de 47 mil alumnos

En el Polo de Educación Superior (PES) de Escobar, la Municipalidad realizó el acto de cierre del programa Escuelas por el Ambiente con la entrega de insumos y materiales para proyectos sostenibles a 96 instituciones públicas y privadas del distrito.

Así, el Municipio sigue promoviendo distintas prácticas para el cuidado del ambiente y brinda continuidad a una iniciativa que este año contó con la participación de 47.210 alumnos del nivel inicial, primario y secundario.

Dicho programa, que apunta a mejorar los procesos de enseñanza para docentes y estudiantes mediante herramientas que faciliten el abordaje transversal de contenidos de educación ambiental, tuvo por primera vez la figura del referente ambiental en la conducción de los equipos de trabajo que incluyeron a docentes, no docentes y a toda la comunidad escolar.

En tanto, durante la ceremonia, también se hizo entrega de diplomas y souvenirs sostenibles a 118 referentes ambientales, mientras que fueron premiados especialmente aquellos y aquellas que se destacaron por su compromiso con el ambiente. 

A lo largo del programa, todas las instituciones recibieron jardines de mariposas, huerteros, composteras, semillas de estación Pro HUERTA, bolsones para la designación del punto verde y acopio de material reutilizable.

También se realizaron capacitaciones especiales sobre diferentes temáticas ambientales, una visita educativa a la planta GIRSU y a la Huerta Municipal Agroecológica. Por último, a modo de cierre de la edición de Escuelas por el Ambiente 2021, el próximo viernes 10 de diciembre se anunciarán las y los ganadores del concurso “Decorá tu punto verde”, cuya votación se realiza a través de las redes sociales de Escobar Sostenible.
