En la localidad de Belén de Escobar, luego de tres exitosos allanamientos, se logró la aprehensión de cinco personas que operaban una banda de narcomenudeo.
Como resultado de los procedimientos, que se llevaron a cabo en la calle Chubut al 100, se secuestraron más de 140 gramos de cocaína y 11 gramos de marihuana listos para ser vendidos, tres teléfonos celulares, dinero en efectivo y documentación de interés que fue incorporada a la causa judicial.
La investigación previa realizada por las fuerzas especializadas incluyó seguimientos a pie y en móviles no identificables, imágenes digitales y filmaciones aportadas por el Centro de Monitoreo Municipal de Garín, la interceptación de compradores ocasionales previamente a que concretaran el ilícito, y denuncias aportadas por la propia Secretaría de Seguridad.
Los allanamientos fueron dispuestos por el Juzgado de Garantías N°3 del Departamento Judicial de Zárate – Campana, a cargo de Luciano Marino y el fiscal de la UFI temática de drogas, Matías Ferreiros, y estuvieron a cargo de personal policial de la Delegación Departamental de Investigaciones de Tráfico de Drogas Ilícitas, y efectivos municipales.
