La Municipalidad subrayó que el distrito “se consolida como uno de los más exitosos en la lucha contra el narcotráfico”

La Secretaría de Seguridad y Prevención Comunitaria de la Municipalidad de Escobar informó que, tomando en cuenta las estadísticas del primer semestre del 2022, se registraron por segundo año consecutivo cifras récord en la lucha contra la venta de droga en todo el distrito, tanto en la modalidad narcomenudeo como narcotráfico.

Durante el período enero-junio se llevaron adelante 69 allanamientos, contra 39 realizados en los mismos meses de 2021.

Como resultados de esos procedimientos ordenados por la Justicia, “y donde en todos los casos resultaron de gran importancia las herramientas tecnológicas incorporadas durante la gestión del intendente Ariel Sujarchuk”, destacaron fuentes policiales, se desbarataron 30 bandas dedicadas a la venta de estupefacientes (19 en 2021), se detuvieron a 134 personas (87 en 2021) y se incautaron 68,461 kilos de droga (36,5 en 2021).

En cuanto al tipo de droga secuestrada en lo que va del 2022, 2,461 kilos corresponden a cocaína y 66 kilos a marihuana, cuando el año pasado fueron 2,402 kilos de cocaína y 34 de marihuana.

Por último, las estadísticas actuales indican que fueron incautadas 37 armas de fuego contra 22 en el primer semestre de 2021.
